New Indian School excels in CBSE Class 12 exam
Manama: The New Indian School (NIS) showed unparalleled progress as its 16th batch of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 performed creditably once again with 97pc pass.
Out of the 115 students who appeared for the Indian board exam 44 passed with Distinction (75pc and above) and 41 with First Class (60pc and above but less than 75pc).
A total of 96 students have got A1 grade in different subjects.
Harikumar Sivaraman emerged as the Science stream topper with 95.8pc.
Anjetha Joseph Mathew took the second position with 94.6pc while Mekha Mariam Sabu with 92.6pc came third.
In the Commerce stream Priyanka Yatin Vyas was the topper with 93pc, Reem Jawad came second with 92.4pc and Amatullah Shabbir third with 91.6pc.
School chairman Dr T T Thomas and other members of the school management extended their hearty congratulations to all the students and wished them all success in their future endeavours.
Director and Principal Dr V Gopalan expressed happiness at the outstanding results and thanked the students, teachers and parents for their combined efforts.
He conveyed his best wishes to all the students and congratulated the toppers for their hard work and excellent performance.
