Al Raja School receives AdvancED accreditation
Manama : Al Raja School has been awarded accreditation by AdvancED after a three-day school inspection by its External Review team.
The award is in partnership with the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. The inspection included a thorough review of the school’s documents, its operations, and interviews with students, staff, parents, and board members.
“Al Raja, originally known as the American Mission School, has been educating children since 1899 and has a long history of excellence, love, and support for all,” said Maria Khoury, Chair of the Board of Managers of the School.
“This is the next step in providing excellent education to the children and families of Bahrain.”
“Accreditation is important,” explained Principal Joshua Perkins, “because it shows that the school operates at a high level as judged by someone completely outside the school. It is a recognition of the hard work of staff, students, parents, and board members. Additionally, this is an important stamp for universities to see on students’ transcripts and diplomas when reviewing university applications.” AdvancED accredits schools in over 70 nations worldwide.
