The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs & Agriculture has expressed its support for the introduction of a new payment method that will allow e-payment for the park tickets and fees.
This was stated during the Ministry official's participation in the weekly meetings of the Northern Municipal Council.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs, Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, expressed support for unifying and developing the process of collecting fees for parks and public facilities electronically.
He stated that work is underway to develop an application for electronic payment processing and that coordination with relevant authorities will be undertaken to explore the possibility of providing electronic payment devices.
