Sameer bin Abdullah Nass, President of the Union of Arab Chambers and Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized the need for a new mechanism to protect Bahraini business owners from international transaction risks.

He highlighted the importance of creating a safe and stable environment for foreign investments by adhering to global best practices in collaboration with the International Chamber of Commerce.

Nass underscored the need for increased coordination and dialogue with all stakeholders to ensure business continuity and economic growth.

Nass made these remarks during a meeting in Paris with John Denton, Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce, attended by Issam Abdulaziz Al-Jassim, Ambassador-designate of Bahrain to France, Khalid Mohammed Najibi, First Vice Chairman of the Chamber, Basem Al-Saei, member of the Executive Office, and Dr. Khalid Hanafi, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers.

Khalid Najibi, First Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, emphasized the importance of transferring the expertise of the International Chamber of Commerce to Bahrain.

He noted that joint efforts with the International Chamber make the Bahrain Chamber more effective and responsive to the needs of Bahraini business owners globally, while advancing business community proposals on foreign trade and commercial legislation.

Basem Al-Saei, a member of the Chamber’s Executive Office, highlighted that cooperation in mediation and commercial conciliation with the International Chamber improves legal services for the Bahraini business community.

It aids in resolving commercial disputes and familiarizes businessmen with legal procedures, fostering economic relations and increasing investments.
