Government Electronic Payments Reach 159 Million Dinars in First Quarter of 2024

Recent statistics from the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) reveal that the total amount of government electronic payments reached 159 million dinars during the first quarter of 2024. This represents 611,431 financial transactions processed through various government channels.
January witnessed the highest volume of payments, with 59.7 million dinars processed through 213,500 transactions. March followed closely with 49.7 million dinars in payments and 189,400 transactions. February saw 49.6 million dinars in payments and 208,400 transactions.
The total value of government electronic payments for the entire year 2023 reached 667 million dinars. Furthermore, statistics from the Government Services Contact Center indicate that a total of 42,200 calls were received during the first quarter of 2024. January recorded 14,600 calls, February had 14,700 calls, and March received 12,800 calls.
