Dr Ibrahim Farouk Obaid, the Head of the Medical Committee for the Kingdom of Bahrain's Hajj Mission, has stated that Bahrain's medical clinic in Mecca has received a number of Bahraini pilgrims and administrators since its opening.

Dr. Obaid explained that all the cases were mild and were handled according to the established procedures based on the nature of each case.

The majority of the cases were suffering from influenza, colds, headaches, joint pain, and muscle aches, in addition to visits for blood pressure and diabetes checks, he revealed.

The Head of the Medical Committee emphasised Bahrain's commitment to providing all the necessary preventive measures to protect the health and safety of the pilgrims.

He noted that the Medical Committee and its entire team are making every effort to serve the pilgrims, highlighting the role of the Medical Committee in the mission in following up on health awareness and providing guidance brochures to the Bahraini pilgrims and those visiting the clinic, in an effort to educate them of the best ways to prevent and avoid contracting diseases.
