ISB Chairman inaugurates Aalekh’24 Inter-School Art Carnival and Exhibition

ISB Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese inaugurated the inter-school art carnival Aalekh’24 and the Art Exhibition at The Indian School’s Isa Town campus yesterday.

The event was attended by Secretary V. Rajapandian, Vice-Chairman Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Assistant Secretary Ranjini Mohan, and Executive Committee Members Mohammed Nayaz Ullah (Transport), Bonny Joseph (Finance & IT), Mithun Mohan (Projects & Maintenance).

Also present were Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas, Senior School & Academic Administration Vice-Principal G Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji, Art Education HoD Lekha Sasi, General Convener Vipin PM, community leaders, parents, and numerous attendees.

The carnival featured over 3,000 young artists showcasing their talents, creating an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

Aalekh’24 promises a day filled with cultural programmes, culminating in a grand finale and prize distribution at the Jashanmal auditorium at 8:00 pm today.

Among the highlights is the 'Harmony' group painting event, where school teams collaborate to produce acrylic paintings on canvas, promoting teamwork and collective creativity among students aged 12-18.

Additionally, the Art Wall contest invites artists above 18 to contribute to the vibrant tapestry of talent on display.
