Shura and Representatives Councils Laud Saudi Arabia’s Efforts to Make the Hajj Season a Success

The Shura Council and the Council of Representatives have expressed their admiration and gratitude for the exceptional efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in ensuring the success of the Hajj season each year. Both councils highlighted the extensive measures and resources deployed by Saudi Arabia to provide exemplary services to pilgrims, ensuring their safety and facilitating their religious duties.

In a statement, the Shura Council praised the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its efforts in making the Hajj season successful each year. They acknowledged Saudi Arabia's effective use of capabilities, personnel, and expertise to serve the pilgrims.

The Council also commended the support and attention that the Hajj season receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Additionally, the Shura Council congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the success of this year’s Hajj season, achieved through the cooperation of various parties and institutions. This collaboration ensured the smooth performance of this significant Islamic pillar while maintaining the security and safety of pilgrims at the Masjid al-Haram.

The Council appreciated the high level of organisation, thorough preparations, and the various services provided to pilgrims by both official and private bodies, as well as volunteers. They praised the ongoing development and modernisation of systems and procedures that make it easier for pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals.

Moreover, the Shura Council acknowledged the role of Saudi leadership in creating favourable conditions and providing excellent services to pilgrims. The Council also recognised the responsibility shown by pilgrims in adhering to regulations, laws, and guidelines that ensure their security and safety at all holy sites.

Similar sentiments were expressed by His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, who confirmed that the success of this year's Hajj season, and all previous seasons, is due to the significant efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving the guests of the Most Gracious. The Kingdom has consistently harnessed all necessary resources to ensure pilgrims can perform the Hajj rituals with peace of mind and ease.

His Excellency praised the royal directives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. These directives have led to the development of the Hajj system according to a comprehensive approach, with outstanding quality plans and programmes.

In a cable sent to His Excellency Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ebrahim Al Sheikh, the Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency the Speaker of the Council of Representatives noted that the continued success of this year's Hajj season was made possible, first and foremost, by the grace of God Almighty, and then by the sincere efforts and continuous follow-up by the wise Saudi leadership and all competent authorities to serve the pilgrims.

The message concluded with a prayer to the Almighty to preserve the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people, and to bless it with security and safety, as well as continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership.
