Sunni Endowments Council Distributes Eid Sacrifices and Clothing to Needy Families

In the spirit of Eid Al-Adha, the Sunni Endowments Council of Bahrain has once again demonstrated its firm resolve to serve the community. Under the leadership of Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri, the council's annual "Udhiyah" (animal sacrifice) project has proven to be a shining example of compassion and generosity.

As the Chairman proudly declared, the Charitable Works Department of the Sunni Waqf Directorate has faithfully carried out this noble tradition, distributing the sacrifices to needy families across the Kingdom. This marks the beginning of the council's remarkable efforts to support those in need and promote unity within Bahraini society.

Regarding the Eid clothing project, the Chairman highlighted it as one of the pioneering initiatives the administration focuses on, aligning with the guidance of Prophet Mohammed(peace be upon him) to support and bring joy to needy families and their children during such seasons. He mentioned that this project has benefited 1,000 children.

In conclusion, the Sunni Endowments Council Chairman expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of these projects. He also thanked the generous individuals who contributed to these initiatives through their endowments and donations. Additionally, he acknowledged the efforts of the Charitable Works Department in supervising and implementing the projects, as well as the cooperation of the charitable societies. He prayed for God's blessings upon the Kingdom of Bahrain and its wise leadership, including His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
