Governor Al-Asfoor Distributes Food Packages to Al-Lawzi Fire Victims

Ali bin Sheikh Abdul Hussain Al-Asfoor, Governor of the Northern Governorate, has distributed food packages to families affected by the recent Al-Lawzi building fire. The packages were provided by the Mohammed Jameel Al-Araed Foundation Mabarrah and delivered in collaboration with the Dar Al-Karama Foundation.

Governor Al-Asfoor stressed the importance of supporting those impacted by the fire, highlighting it as a key part of the governorate's humanitarian and social responsibilities. He commended the community partnership demonstrated in this initiative, praising the efforts of the Mohammed Jameel Al-Araed Foundation and Dar Al-Karama in delivering aid to those in need.

"This undertaking reflects the quintessence of communal unity, where we collectively extend our support to those enduring hardship," Governor Al-Asfoor said.

Maryam Al-Arrayed, CEO of the Mohammed Jameel Al-Araed Foundation, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to partner with the Northern Governorate in providing assistance to the affected families. She reaffirmed her organisation's goal of implementing such programmes in cooperation with the governorate.

"We are privileged to contribute to the relief of families affected by this grievous fire," Al-Arrayed said. "It is incumbent upon us to assist those in distress, and we stand resolute in our collaboration with the Northern Governorate to ensure they receive the requisite aid."

The distribution of food packages is part of a larger effort by the Northern Governorate and its partners to assist the victims of the Al-Lawzi fire.
