Travel and tourism exhibition to be held

Manama

Travel agencies will exhibit their latest promotional offers at a travel and tourism exhibition later this week.

Under the Patronage of Minister of Industry and Commerce Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, event management company Events House will organise a travel and tourism exhibition titled 'Ejaza' meaning 'vacation' in Arabic.

Individuals, families, and business travelers are expected to attend the exhibition, which will take place from May 28 to 30 at Bahrain City Centre.

Events House CEO Habib Ebrahim said the expo is devoted to providing all the information travellers would need, from airlines, flight fares, different range of hotels, to travel insurance providers and special offers and packages.

“The travel and tourism sector in Bahrain has enormous potential to grow in the future with 348 businesses in the tourism industry.”

"The exhibition aims to facilitate communication between travellers who seek the best offers for their next trip and the top travel and tourism-related businesses, including airline agencies, tourism and travel agencies, hotel and resorts, embassies, and insurance companies," he added.

He stated the exhibition will contribute to the development of the travel and tourism industry in Bahrain, and that Events House plans to hold the exhibition annually.
