Stage set for global forum on antibiotics for infectious diseases

The Infectious Diseases Association of the Bahrain Medical Society, in collaboration with Education Plus, is set to organise the second edition of the International Conference on Antibiotic-Resistant Microbes and Infectious Diseases.
The event, which will also feature a workshop on the optimal use of antibiotics, will take place from September 19 to 22, 2024, at the Diplomat Hotel.
The conference, to be held under the patronage of His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, builds on the success of its inaugural edition.
Dr. Jamila Al-Salman, Chair of the Conference, Member of the Shura Council, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Arabian Gulf University, Consultant in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Aging, and Infection Control, and President of the Infectious Diseases Association at the Bahrain Medical Society, highlighted the significance of this event.
