Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob of the Indian Embassy in Bahrain has called on the Indian community in the country to follow the guidelines issued by the General Directorate of Civil Defence, particularly in light of a recent fire incident in Manama Souq and the rising temperatures.

The Ambassador made these remarks during an "Open House" event organised by the Embassy today. He extended Eid Al-Adha greetings to the Indian community members present. This gathering, presided over by the Ambassador and attended by the Embassy's Community Care Team, Consular Team, and over thirty Indian nationals, served as a crucial forum for addressing concerns and extending support to the community.

Ambassador Jacob also spoke at the inaugural council session organised by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA). The session focused on the "Work Together Campaign," an initiative aimed at raising awareness about the rights and responsibilities of expatriate employers and workers in Bahrain.

In the course of this session, numerous issues concerning the Indian community were brought to the fore. While some matters found resolution at the Open House event, others remain on the agenda for future attention by the Embassy.
