Rising flour prices: Urgent meeting this Sunday

The recent surge in flour prices will be addressed in a forthcoming joint meeting between MPs and the government scheduled for this Sunday.
Ahmed bin Salman AlMusallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, will preside over this urgent session.
Participants will include members of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee, representatives from the Bahrain Flour Mills Company, and relevant government agencies.
This meeting comes in response to MPs’ request for government intervention to alleviate the impact of price hikes on consumers.
