‘My Small Fair’ kicks off tomorrow

The Child Wish Society will organise ‘My Small Fair’ for the third consecutive year with the participation of 85 boys and girls to celebrate along with the National Day celebrations.

The fair is sponsored by Gulf Finance House and will kick off in the Lagoons of Amwaj tomorrow in the afternoon.

Following the success of the previous fairs which witnessed a large turnout by children and families, this helped encourage children in participating in the fairs to put some serious thought into producing innovative consumables.

This year, the fair will experience the participation of 85 children between the ages of 4 and 16, which will exceed last year’s 50 participants. This shows the awareness of children and families about the importance of productivity, innovation and trade and to encourage involvement of parents with children to push their talents.

The society is also happy to welcome the products of the talented children from Alia Centre for Early Intervention.

President of the Child Wish Society Manal Al Awadhi said: “We are delighted to participate in the country’s celebrations and that the kids of Bahrain to have a clear print in the national events and today the children are the ones who give thanks to Bahrain for the support of the country and the wise leadership, the government facilities and the private sector that helps establishing culture conscious youth. Today, they are producing and selling, and the sellers of today are the businessmen of the future.”
