The "Faael Khair" initiative, launched by the General Directorate for the Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, has brought relief to many indebted citizens during the recent Eid al-Adha holiday.

Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Director General of the Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing, highlighted the initiative's success, stating that it helped 29 individuals by settling 33 execution files, amounting to a total of 101,984 Bahraini dinars.

Shaikh Khalid emphasised the importance of the initiative, stating that it reflects the deep-rooted values of generosity and compassion within Bahraini society.

He expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Interior, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, for his support and guidance in ensuring the success of "Faael Khair."

Furthermore, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa highlighted that the initiative operates throughout the year, not just during Ramadan.

Donations can be made through the Islamiyat, BenefitPay, or Sadad applications.

Since its launch, "Faael Khair" has assisted 1,168 beneficiaries and settled 1,211 files, with a total value exceeding 2.8 million Bahraini dinars.

Each case is thoroughly reviewed based on specific criteria, including health condition, age, number of dependents, and income sources.

A detailed report is then prepared and presented to the relevant committee for approval.
