Khalid bin Hamad Theatric Festival begins Friday

The first Khalid bin Hamad Youth Theatrics Festival, under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad A Khalifa and organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will begin on Friday, December 4. 

The festival takes place at the Isa Sports Club's gym hall at 7 pm every day with 10 plays to be presented by six national clubs and four youth centres. 

The festival begins with "Face-to-face" play presented by Isa Town Club. Halat Club will present "Alzheimer" play on Saturday. Buri Club will stage "Innovator" play on Sunday and Shakhoora Youth Centre will present "The Millionaire" play on Monday. Tubli Club will stage "Homeless Containers" on Tuesday, and Qalali Club will present "Ice Tunes" play on Wednesday. Al Buhair Youth Centre will present "What's up?" play on Thursday. Isa Town Youth Centre will stage "Bags" play on Friday. On Saturday, Suddad Youth Centre will present "Fifty Dance" play. The festival's finale on Friday, December 13, will see Al Ettihad Club presenting "Other Door" play.

The best fully integrated play will be announced by the arbitration panel and the prizes will be distributed on December 29 at 7 pm on the stage of Isa Town Club.
