Yaser Alsharifi to lead BBK as Group CEO

Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK) announced its leadership change as Dr. AbdulRahman Saif, Group Chief Executive, retires after 16 years of exemplary service, over four of which were spent as Group Chief Executive. His last working day will be August 31, 2024.
In addition, the Bank has obtained approval from the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on the appointment of Mr. Yaser Alsharifi as the new Group Chief Executive, and his joining date is on August 18, 2024.
Mr. Yaser Alsharifi brings a wealth of expertise, with close to 30 years of experience. BBK Chairman Tariq AlSaffar expressed profound appreciation for Dr. Saif’s contributions.
