U.S. Ambassador Meets with Bahrain Officials to Discuss Anti-Trafficking Efforts

U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain, Steven C. Bondy, met with Mr. Nibras Talib, CEO of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), to applaud Bahrain's continued Tier 1 designation in the Department of State's 2024 Trafficking in Persons Report. This marks the seventh year Bahrain has received the highest ranking, reflecting the country's significant efforts to combat human trafficking.
During the meeting, Ambassador Bondy congratulated Mr. Talib and the LMRA for their leadership in tackling this critical issue. The discussion also focused on the upcoming Anti-Trafficking Action Plan for the year ahead
