Bahrain Network (BNet) Garners International Recognition for Exemplary Health and Safety Practices

Bahrain Network (BNet), the national provider of fiber-optic broadband network in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has bagged three prestigious international awards in recognition of its commitment to upholding occupational health and safety standards in the workplace.

BNet clinched the Silver Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in the "Achievement" category. This accolade underscores the network's implementation of the highest health and safety standards throughout the past year, further solidifying its commitment to upholding robust health and safety programs.

Adding to its accolades, BNet also received the "International Safety Award" in the "Merit" category from the British Safety Council and the "Occupational Health and Safety Excellence Award" from the National Safety Council of the United States. These additional recognitions highlight BNet's unwavering efforts in fostering a safe and healthy work environment while promoting safety practices across its operations, encompassing numerous geographical locations within the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Commenting on this achievement, Shaikh Ebrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BNet, stated, "We are proud to have achieved these prestigious international awards in the field of occupational health and safety. Mr. Ali Haddad, Head of the Health and Safety Department, further commented, "This achievement reflects BNet's commitment to upholding the highest standards of occupational health and safety and continuously improving to provide a safe working environment to ensure the sustainability of the network's operations."

He highlighted that the company's efforts are ongoing in developing occupational health and safety performance through regular reviews in coordination with international institutions.
