Isa Town major road project in full swing

The ongoing efforts to upgrade and revitalise several roads in Block 816, Isa Town, have reached a 75% completion rate, according to Engineer Bader Sayed Alawi Sayed Ali, Director of the Road Projects and Maintenance Directorate at the Ministry of Works.
This initiative aims to improve the movement of visitors within the area.
Engineer Alawi specified that the project involves 1,023 properties and includes reconstructing and resurfacing 8.3 kilometres of roads, from Road 1601 to 1631.
Additionally, the rainwater drainage network project is 85% complete, with 75% of the initial asphalt paving and 65% of the parking and brick road paving also finished.
Moreover, the Ministry of Works is working with the Electricity and Water Authority to update the lighting and water systems in the area.
