Crown Prince's Scholarship Programme Holds Orientation Lecture for 2024 Awardees

The Crown Prince's International Scholarship Programme (CPISP), under the Court of the Crown Prince, organised an orientation lecture for students awarded scholarships in 2024 and their parents.

The lecture aimed to inform them about the programme's regulations and procedures, its role in preparing and supporting its scholars, and the best educational and cultural opportunities available to them. Additionally, the lecture covered the requirements for studying abroad until they obtain their university qualifications.

Ms. Shahdha Ahmed Ali, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the programme, stated that the CPISP enjoys the support and attention of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to continue investing in Bahraini youth.

The programme aims to provide the best educational opportunities at the most prestigious universities worldwide for its scholars and offers them the chance to learn about different global cultures. Ms. Ali clarified that the programme provides students with the freedom to choose their desired specialisations at the universities they have been accepted to, starting with a bachelor's degree and continuing to master's and doctoral degrees.

She congratulated the members of the 25th batch of the CPISP on obtaining scholarships for this year, which are awarded annually to a number of outstanding Bahraini students from government and private schools.

Ms. Ali commended their academic excellence and wished them all the best in their studies abroad.

This year's batch includes student Al Anood Majeed Al Atawi, who will join a boarding school in the United Kingdom to obtain an A Levels certificate before enrolling in university. Students Fatima Ali Hassan Ibrahim, Hassan Hussain Al Akri, Hassan Majeed Aman, Mahmoud Ali Al Tareef, Maryam Hussain Al Ibriq, and Sarah Hassan Al Hamran will also join boarding schools to obtain an American High School Diploma before enrolling in university.

Students Abdulrahman Hisham Al Bin Ali, Aseel Hani Al Oraibi, Ibrahim Ahmed Abdullah, Fatima Salah Abdulaziz, Masooma Ibrahim Khair, Sarah Ahmed Hussain, Sarah Mohamed Khalil, Talia Mitchell, and Yasmeen Amin Al Orayedh will join various universities in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, students Ali Hassan Al Mutawa, Diva Manoj Bathia, Mohammed Safwan Oriqat, and Sayed Hashim Jameel Al Sharaf will join different universities in the United States of America.
