Success Stories by Visionaries welcomes British artist

The Bahrain-based developmental NGO, Visionaries, prepares to host renowned British artist and designer Benjamin Shine, who will take part a the public talk, “Success Stories” on  June 1 at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa.

 Designed to give Bahrain youth and professionals an opportunity to hear from world figures across different fields, Success Stories aims to inspire and empower local talents.

Hosting three international public figures this year in line with its youth engagement effort, it also features international architect Carlos Zapata and American fashion designer Maggie Norris, whose career stories will take centre stage at the public event.

The event opens opens at 7pm in the Al Ghazal Ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Bahrain.

 Benjamin Shine is known for his distinctive techniques and creative artworks. Shine studied fashion design at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design and Central St Martins in London.

In 2003, he set up his creative studio, where materials, techniques and constructional ideas continue to inform his diverse portfolio and multidisciplinary approach.

 Benjamin Shine won the Red Dot Design Award, The Enterprising Young Brit Award and The Courvoisier Future 500 Art & Design Award. He has created portraits of multiple world leaders and inspiring personalities and has taken part in countless exhibitions and galleries worldwide.

 Since the establishment of Visionaries in 2013, its team has organized multiple programmes, events and activities to promote the role of local youth in society and Bahrain’s economic development.

Most recently, the youth NGO established iCitizen convention at the Bahrain International Circuit in January and featured over 50 young Bahraini entrepreneurs, talented youth and volunteer groups.
