Member of Parliament (MP) Basma Mubarak has proposed a legislative change that would require the public disclosure of scholarship distribution results alongside the corresponding academic GPAs. This move, she believes, would foster the development of future talents and skills, ultimately contributing to the prosperity and advancement of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

MP Mubarak's proposal comes as high school graduates and their families eagerly await the announcement of scholarship distribution results. She acknowledged the immense effort put forth by the Ministry of Education, under the leadership of the Minister of Education, Dr Mohammed bin Juma Mubarak, as well as students, and parents throughout their academic journey, culminating in the competitive pursuit of scholarships that will shape their future careers.

"We are all awaiting the transparent implementation of this new system, ensuring that the academic merit of high school graduates is the sole determining factor in scholarship distribution," said MP Mubarak. She expressed unwavering confidence in the Minister's commitment to a fair and transparent process, believing it will undoubtedly result in a just allocation of scholarships to deserving students.

MP Mubarak commended the significant strides and positive changes implemented by the Ministry of Education, particularly under the leadership of Minister of Education Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma. She emphasised the importance of continued positive transformation across all aspects of education, especially in light of the recent announcement by the Ministry to adopt the cumulative GPA as the sole criterion for scholarship eligibility.
