Police arrest suspects in 35,000 Bahraini Dinar electrical cable theft

Several individuals suspected of stealing electrical cables valued at approximately 35,000 Bahraini dinars were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the General Department of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Evidence in separate operations.
The suspects, originating from different nations, were apprehended red-handed with stolen cables following a tip-off received by the CID.
Further investigations revealed that another group had purchased these stolen materials without verifying their origin or obtaining receipts for the transactions.
The seized items have been documented as evidence, and legal proceedings are now underway. The case will be referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
