Revamp works in the Capital Governorate are set to significantly improve public services and enhance the quality of life for residents. Led by the Capital Municipality Council in partnership with the Ministry of Works, this extensive infrastructure initiative focuses on road development, sewage network expansion, and traffic safety improvements.
Engineer Saleh Tarada, Chairman of the Capital Municipal Council, emphasised the Council’s focus on infrastructure development across the Capital Governorate of Bahrain.
He highlighted the ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Works to carry out various projects, including the establishment of a sewage network in Block 604 in Sitra, which will serve approximately 280 properties.
Sewage network projects are progressing in Block 381, Block 382 in Nabih Saleh, and Block 711 in Tubli, benefiting a total of 305 properties.
The blueprint for infrastructure improvements extends to the enhancement of road networks, encompassing the principal road project in East Sitra, the development of roads in Block 324 in Juffair, Ma’ameer - Block 633, and Jidd Hafs.
The Council supervises the development of Road 287 and its adjacent roads in Block 602 in Mahaza, Sitra, alongside the refurbishment and development of roads in Block 816 in Isa Town and Block 381 in Nabih Saleh.
