BDF General Command opens registration for Reserve Force

The General Command of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that registration is open for civilians (Male and Female) to volunteer to join the Reserve Force.
Relatives of the military and civilian staff and retirees of the BDF and the National Guard are eligible to register.
Eligible applicants must be Bahraini nationals aged 18 to 55 years, but exemptions for the upper age limit will be made for technicians, specialists or based on duty requirements. They are required to have good conduct, and not be convicted by a court for a felony or misdemeanour. Applicants should be medically fit for military service in the reserve force, and successfully pass the medical examination set by the BDF’s military medical committees.
Applications shall be received on the following link: https://www.bdf.bh/.
The Reserve Force Law, promulgated by Decree-Law (5) of 1987 and the regulations and instructions issued accordingly, regulated all rights and duties of the Reserve Force as an auxiliary force for BDF.
