Alumni Club Library in Adliya inaugurated

The Minister of Education, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, inaugurated the Alumni Club Library at its headquarters in Adliya.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, and Abdulrahman Mohammed Jamsheer, Member of the Shura Council and Honorary Member of the Club, alongside various officials and club members.

Mr. Abdul Latif Ahmed Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Club, delivered an address expressing gratitude for the ongoing support from the Ministry of Education and other public and private sector entities.

Al Zayani emphasised the significance of the Alumni Club Library as a pivotal hub for fostering an engaged intellectual community among graduates.

He highlighted its role in providing extensive and diverse information resources, fostering a conducive environment for research activities, professional development, and community engagement.

The Chairman elaborated on the library’s transformation from a conventional paper-based facility to a modern educational platform featuring an extensive electronic research database.
