Workshop on protecting IP in interior design

Middle East Traders, the trusted source for flooring, sanitary ware, healthcare products, wall covering, and building materials, recently collaborated with the Bahraini Intellectual Property Society to host a workshop titled “Preserving Intellectual Property Rights Within the Interior Design Industry.”

The workshop took place at Middle East Traders’ showroom near Al Khamis Mosque and was conducted by Dr. Nehal Al Merbati, a member of the Bahraini Intellectual Property Society.

Over 30 participants, including industry professionals and enthusiasts, attended the event to deepen their understanding of Intellectual Property in interior design.

They gained insights into its concepts, importance, and methods to safeguard the creative works of designers and clients alike.

Mr. Salman Al Khan, Business Development Manager, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to collaborate with the Bahraini Intellectual Property Society, which has a prominent role in the Kingdom.

Ms. Omaima Al Sayed, Deputy Chairman of the Bahraini Intellectual Property Society, emphasised the society’s commitment to raising awareness about intellectual property’s significance in Bahrain’s economic development.

She appreciated Middle East Traders’ initiative in addressing this fundamental issue, noting its impact on service quality and business standards.
