Bahrain and UAE Strengthen Security Cooperation: Minister Praises Joint Efforts

Manama, Bahrain - His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Minister of Interior, received a delegation from the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interior today. The Emirati delegation, headed by Colonel Dr. Ali Mubarak Al-Zaabi, arrived to review the implementation of Bahrain's Alternative Penalties Project and Open Prisons Program.
The Minister welcomed the delegation, highlighting the importance of the project and program as a model for the region's criminal justice systems. He emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and the UAE, fostered by the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, presidents of their respective nations.
Security Cooperation Takes Center Stage
Minister Al Khalifa praised the existing security cooperation and coordination between the two Gulf nations. He emphasized their joint commitment to exchanging successful experiences and expertise. This collaboration, he stressed, is crucial for maintaining collective security and protecting the interests of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).
The meeting served as a platform to explore various security topics and solidify joint efforts in sharing experiences. These collaborative measures are expected to contribute significantly to the development of their security cooperation.
