Governorate organises career preparation program for youth

The Northern Governor, Ali bin Shaikh Abdul Hussein Al-Asfoor, has emphasised that the summer program “Our Homeland and Our King Unite Us” aims to guide participants towards future careers and help them choose suitable academic paths for the job market.

As part of this initiative, the governorate organised a visit to the Ministry of Labor, providing students firsthand experience of the work environment and labor market dynamics in Bahrain. During their visit, students received a motivational address from Ahmed Al-Haiki, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, focusing on enhancing students’ awareness in selecting academic specialisations aligned with future career opportunities.

The itinerary included a tour of the Training and Employment Department, where students learned about services catering to job seekers, efforts to overcome employment challenges, and tools for identifying career inclinations among participants. These initiatives aim to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed career choices that align with their aspirations and ensure future success.
