French Ambassador Extends Warm Welcome to Bahraini Paralympic Delegation

In a display of international sportsmanship, His Excellency Ambassador Eric Giraud-Telme, the French Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently received a delegation of Bahraini athletes participating in the upcoming 2024 Paralympic Games.

The esteemed guest, Mr. Ali Mohammed Al Majid, Secretary General of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, led the delegation during the meeting held at the French Embassy. The official visit served as a warm welcome and an opportunity to extend well wishes to the Bahraini athletes.

Ambassador Giraud-Telme commended the dedication and tireless efforts of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee in preparing its athletes for this prestigious competition. He expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming Paris 2024 Games, highlighting their unifying potential.

"The Games will bring together societies of all backgrounds, celebrating their diversity and inclusivity through the joy of sports," the Ambassador remarked. Embracing the spirit of cooperation, Mr. Al Majid, the Secretary-General, acknowledged the French Embassy's invaluable support in empowering people with disabilities across various fields.

The 2024 Paralympic Games are scheduled to take place in Paris, France, from August 28th to September 8th, 2024. The Bahraini delegation, undoubtedly inspired by the Ambassador's warm reception, is poised to make the Kingdom proud on the international sporting stage.
