Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), ‘The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East’, has teamed up with popular Bahraini restaurant Villa Mamas by Roaya Saleh to bring a taste of Bahrain cuisine to Formula 1 fans in the UK.

As part of BIC’s sales and promotion stand at last weekend’s British Grand Prix, Villa Mamas by Roaya Saleh held a food-sampling experience throughout the race weekend at Silverstone.

Race-goers were treated to a number of popular delicacies that included both traditional food and drink as well as modern Middle Eastern delights, freshly prepared by Villa Mamas by Roaya Saleh exclusively for the event.

Roaya Saleh is a celebrated Bahraini culinary visionary and pioneer of Khaleeji cuisine and has successfully elevated traditional Gulf flavours to a global audience, establishing a presence in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and London.

With a philosophy centred on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Roaya’s menus offer a rich tapestry of flavours, blending influences from Iran, India, and Europe.

Her innovative approach has earned her a reputation as a leading figure in the culinary world, dedicated to preserving and promoting the unique culinary traditions of the Gulf.

The food tasting was part of a promotion which aimed to offer a flavour of what to expect from a Bahrain Grand Prix experience to the 480,000 fans who attended over the weekend in the UK.

Fans were also able to try out a giant Scalextric track in the layout of the Bahrain GP circuit, take on the racing simulator experience and have their names written in traditional Arabic calligraphy.

Fans were also able to learn about special ticket offers and travel packages which are now available for the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2025, taking place 11 to 13 April as the fourth round of next year’s FIA F1 World Championship.

Amongst the current deals on tickets is BIC’s limited-time only Early Bird discount of up to 15 per cent on all grandstand tickets to the Sakhir race weekend.

The 15 per cent price reduction is available on tickets to the Main Grandstand and Turn One Grandstand, while a 10 per cent discount is on offer for the Beyon Grandstand, University Grandstand, and Victory Grandstand.

Meanwhile, various travel packages are now available, which have been specially curated in cooperation with Gulf Air Holidays and Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.

They offer various exciting combinations of return flights, hotel accommodation, grand prix ticket options, and transfers at the most competitive rates.

Travel packages from London start from GBP969 per person and they offer incredible deals that take care of all the needs and comfort of fans attending the Kingdom’s race from abroad.
