Health Minister opens Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic for Ashoora

Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, inaugurated the Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic in Manama yesterday, specifically set up for Ashoora. The clinic is staffed by a skilled medical team from Primary Health Care Centers and Government Hospitals, and is equipped with advanced medical facilities and a fully stocked pharmacy.
The facility also has direct coordination with the Accident and Emergency Department at the Salmaniya Medical Complex for cases needing hospital transportation. The inauguration was attended by Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate; Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments Council; and Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive of Primary Health Care Centres.
The minister praised the medical clinic’s team for equipping the clinic with all necessary resources for participants observing Ashoora. Shaikh Rashid lauded the community partnership between government entities and civil society institutions in preserving public health and safety. Yousif bin Saleh Al Saleh noted that the opening of the Imam Al Hussain Medical Clinic is part of strengthening community partnerships during various religious and national occasions, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Government Hospitals, and Primary Health Care Centres.
