Talks to enhance BahrainRussia air transport ties

In a significant move to bolster Bahrain-Russia relations, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Russian Ambassador Alexey Skosyrev. The meeting focused on reviewing and enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of air transport.
Both sides discussed strategies to improve the efficiency of passenger and cargo movement, transport, and transit. These discussions aim to build upon the recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during His Majesty King Hamad’s visit to Russia. Minister Al Kaabi and Ambassador Skosyrev explored various avenues to strengthen ties and improve transport links between the two nations, emphasising the importance of the MoU in facilitating smoother and more efficient air travel and cargo transport.
