Triskelion Team claims Filipino basketball title

Triskelion Team showcased their resilience and experience as they upset heavy favorite Adliya Revolt team, 55-49, in a thrilling finale to bag the FCBG’s 5th Adliya Park Hoopsters Basketball Tournament (Aspirants Division) title.
Khel Grisola was named the finals’ Most Valuable Player (MVP). It was Triskelion Team’s back-to-back title.
Crucial turnovers and missed freethrows by Adliya Revolt in the later part of the fourth quarter caused their downfall against the eventual back-toback Champions Triskelion.
In the FCBG’s 40s and above division, Astig Basketball team pocketed the third place trophy after beating Taif Contracting,84-81, while Verminex took game 1 versus Leica Geosystems on their best-of-3 finals series.
In the main game, Verminex whipped Zenjex Tigbas and etched a 1-0 lead in their bestof-three championship series for the Inter-Kulay Division of the FCBG’s 45th Season 2nd Conference Master Cup.
