HM King Hamad's Commitment to Peace Highlighted at Aspen Security Forum

HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Advisor of National Security and Commander of the Royal Guard, emphasized the unwavering dedication of His Majesty King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa to the values of dialogue, peace, and coexistence.

Speaking at the 15th edition of the Aspen Security Forum, Sheikh Nasser highlighted the numerous royal initiatives underscoring Bahrain's role in promoting peace and His Majesty's vision of making the Kingdom of Bahrain a bastion of peace.

"His Majesty King Hamad, has consistently championed the values of dialogue, peace, and coexistence through various royal initiatives, reinforcing Bahrain's commitment to peace as a permanent choice," said Sheikh Nasser. He also lauded the efforts of the Government of Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in unifying efforts and working collaboratively to combat terrorism.

The Aspen Security Forum, held from July 16 to 18, brings together elite decision-makers, senior officials in security, intelligence, defense, and foreign affairs, as well as thought leaders and media figures from around the globe. The forum aims to enhance dialogue and collaboration between policymakers, experts, and the public to foster a better understanding of security issues and develop innovative solutions to address them.

HH Sheikh Nasser praised the forum's content, which covers a wide range of topics including national security, counter-terrorism, network security, intelligence, defense policy, and international relations. "The Aspen Forum provides a unique platform for discussing critical issues in the security and military spheres. The year 2024 represents a turning point for individual empowerment and collective cooperation," he remarked.

The forum also focuses on exploring new and innovative ways of cooperation across government, private industry, and civil society to address global challenges. "Ensuring security, peace, and prosperity in countries worldwide, especially in the face of current global challenges, is paramount. The Aspen Security Forum serves as a vital platform for policymakers, experts, and the public to engage in meaningful discussions about the most urgent security challenges facing the United States and the world," Sheikh Nasser concluded.

The event features keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interviews with prominent figures in the national security community, offering a comprehensive overview of the pressing issues and potential solutions in today's complex security landscape.
