Bahrain Government Hospitals Seek Contractor for Extensive Landscaping Project

The Government Hospitals have announced a tender for a landscaping contract, aiming to enhance the green spaces across several healthcare facilities. The tender, published on the Tender Board website, reflects the government's commitment to promoting greenery in the Kingdom.

The contract, which will span 36 months, seeks a contractor to provide two agricultural equipment operators with necessary equipment, as well as a palm tree specialist for the Salmaniya Medical Complex. The responsibilities will include tree pruning, palm tree maintenance, debris removal, seasonal flower planting, fruit harvesting, and general horticultural services across all government hospitals.

The scope of the project extends beyond the Salmaniya Medical Complex, encompassing several other hospitals and health centers, including Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Community Medical Center, Jidhafs Maternity Hospital, Elderly Care Hospital in Muharraq, Abdulrahman Kanoo Kidney Center, Multiple Sclerosis Center in Muharraq.

The tender requires a 500 Bahraini dinar initial guarantee, valid for 180 days. Bidders are allowed to submit multiple options, and the tender closes on July 30th, 2024.

This initiative underscores the government's commitment to creating a more verdant and aesthetically pleasing environment within its healthcare facilities. The landscaping project is expected to enhance the overall experience for patients, staff, and visitors, promoting a sense of well-being and tranquility within the hospital settings.
