MPs commend Bahrain’s security and stability under royal leadership

In a demonstration of unity, MPs have expressed their pride in the security and stability that the Kingdom enjoys under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

They praised the national awareness of Bahrain’s citizens, who heed the Ministry of Interior’s directives to avoid inflammatory calls that threaten national security and civil peace.

MP Mohammed Janahi commended the freedom in Bahrain for citizens to practise their religious rituals responsibly, noting that the recent Ashura season concluded successfully through the combined efforts of official and civil entities, guided directly by HM the King. MP Janahi emphasised the importance of not exploiting religious occasions to incite tension, quarrels, or political unrest through marches that end in violence and negative consequences for the nation and its citizens.

Safety and security

He acknowledged the vigilance of Bahrain’s security personnel, led by the Minister of Interior, in ensuring the safety and security of all. MP Janahi also denounced suspicious entities from abroad inciting violence and unlawful marches, stating that such calls are broadly rejected by the diverse components of Bahraini society.

The people of Bahrain, known for their solidarity and cohesion, universally oppose endangering security, civil peace, and national unity.

Suspicious calls

Echoing these sentiments, MP Jameel Mulla Hassan reaffirmed that all citizens of Bahrain, from various backgrounds, reject these suspicious calls. He supported the Chief of Public Security’s appeal for citizens to disregard any such calls from external parties aiming to disturb public order and pose legal risks to participants.

The Kingdom, he added, under its wise leadership, remains a land of peace, ready to counter any conspiracies against the nation and its leaders.
