Lanes set for closure

The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior, has announced maintenance work on Nasser bin Jabr Al Jabr Street at its intersection with King Abdullah bin Al Hussein Street in the Seef District.
This work will necessitate the closure of some lanes within the intersection. The affected area will be operational from tomorrow, at 11pm, until Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 5am. Meanwhile, maintenance work on Shaikh Duaij Street, between Al Fateh Street and Al Qasr Street, will require the staged closure of one lane in each direction, with one lane remaining open for traffic.
This project is set to commence on Monday, August 5, 2024, and will last for one month. The Ministry urges all road users to adhere to traffic regulations to maintain safety and minimise disruptions during this period.
Upcoming Road Closures Announced by the Ministry of Works
December 16 Road, Riffa: Two lanes will be closed from August 1 to 4.
Al Janabiya Road: One lane will be closed in certain phases from Road 57 and Budaiya Road, from August 1 to 4.
Shaikh Isa bin Salman Highway: The right lane on both sides at Bahrain Map flyover will be closed from August 1 to 2.
King Faisal Highway & Budaiya Road Intersection: Lanes will be closed from August 1 to 3.
Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Bridge: One lane on both sides will be closed from August 1 to 4.
