Bahrain and China Prosecutions Solidify AI Partnership

In pursuit of advancing the Memorandum of Understanding between the Public Prosecution and its counterpart in the People's Republic of China, a virtual meeting was convened with specialists in technology and artificial intelligence from the Chinese Public Prosecution. The principal objective was to share expertise and examine the integration of these technologies into prosecutorial work in China.
The Bahraini delegation included Counselor Abdullah Al-Dosari, Head of the International Cooperation and Human Rights Office, Chief Prosecutor Mohammed Al-Zubari, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Applications Team, and their associates.
During the session, they scrutinised the regulatory frameworks and operational systems of the Chinese Public Prosecution. Discussions also encompassed Bahrain’s current electronic systems for managing judicial and administrative criminal cases, as well as plans to enhance technological capabilities.
Counselor Abdullah Al-Dosari praised the productive collaboration in training and capacity building, observing the considerable benefits Bahrain stands to gain from China's experience in this domain.
Additional meetings are planned to explore technical specifics, to effectively integrate artificial intelligence into the criminal justice system within legal boundaries.
