Minister Alkhulaif Hails Takamul’s ICV as Boost to Bahrain-Saudi Partnership

Her Excellency Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Bahrain’s Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board, has embraced the introduction of the In-Country Value (ICV) Programme in Industry (TAKAMUL).

This initiative further reinforces the enduring partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister said.

Her Excellency also praised the initiative for the mutual recognition of products manufactured in both countries, a notable achievement of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, led by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. This programme aims to continue enhancing the investment environment in the kingdom and stimulate economic growth.

The Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board expressed confidence in this progressive programme, which is expected to bring a range of benefits. It aims to strengthen joint efforts and coordination, thereby deepening bilateral relations and the shared vision of the two nations, aligned with the aspirations of their peoples.
