Saudi Businesses Now Welcome in Bahrain's Takamul Programme!

Announcing the opening of registration for Saudi establishments in Bahrain’s In-Country Value (ICV) in Industry (Takamul) programme, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, noted the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

H.E. the Ambassador emphasised the enduring and robust bonds between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, characterised by productive collaboration across various sectors, nurtured by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and HM King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

The Ambassador also noted the parity of treatment accorded to Bahraini and Saudi products concerning local content and government procurement. The inclusion of Saudi establishments in the Bahraini Takamul programme, which is designed to enhance local value and preference in government procurement, strengthens the efforts of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council. This council, presided over by His Royal Highness Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, aims to support joint initiatives and coordination between the two kingdoms, benefiting their peoples and cultivating a prosperous and sustainable future.

H.E. the Ambassador also highlighted the programme’s role in promoting integration and growth for both countries, enhancing local value in industrial products, and increasing supply chain efficiency. This initiative is poised to expand cooperation across various sectors, including industrial, commercial, and economic, contributing to the prosperity of both nations.
