Mosquito Menace Crackdown In Full Swing

Efforts to tackle the mosquito menace remain in full force in the Northern Governorate, where Governor Ali Al-Asfoor presided over the weekly consultative meeting of officials.
In collaboration with local participants, the Engineering Services and Investment Administration provided an update on mosquito control efforts following field inspections by the campaign team.
They pinpointed mosquito breeding sites and their causes, such as waste, debris, and agricultural weeds.
Governor Al-Asfoor emphasised the need to continue the campaign to support the governorate’s goal of being recognised as a healthy area.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the forthcoming security committee meeting and residents' council, along with the planning of the closing ceremony for the 'Biggest Winner' competition.
Furthermore, discussions included the summer programme for autism care, organised in collaboration with the Bahrain Autism Society.
