Renowned Bahraini Filmmaker Ibrahim Fareed Qamber Passes Away

The Ministry of Information has announced the passing of esteemed filmmaker Ibrahim Farid Qambar, who passed away on Tuesday.

Qambar leaves behind a legacy of dedication and excellence in the field of media.

Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Minister of Information, expressed his condolences, highlighting Qambar's unwavering commitment to national media.

He described the late filmmaker as a role model for his dedication and tireless efforts in serving the media landscape of Bahrain.

"The media family has lost a great figure who combined professional creativity with a gentle demeanor, earning him the respect and admiration of all," said the Minister.

Al Nuaimi further emphasised Qambar's significant contributions to sports media, particularly his work with Bahrain Sports Channel.

His commitment to professionalism and constant pursuit of improvement have inspired generations of sports journalists.

The Minister praised Qambar's exceptional skills in sports television directing, evident in the high-quality live coverage of sporting events and the numerous sports programmes and reports he directed.
