Bahrain's Flag Flies High at Paris Olympics as Winfred Yavi Crowned
Bahrain’s flag flew high at the venue of Paris Olympics 2024 on Wednesday evening during the official crowning of the Kingdom’s athlete Winfred Yavi for winning gold in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee witnessed the official crowning of athlete Winfred Yavi with the gold medal along with officials of Bahrain Olympic Committee.
