Southern Governorate Municipality Announces Tender for Sheikh Khalifa Park Maintenance

The Southern Governorate Municipality has announced a local tender for the operation and maintenance of the Shaikh Khalifa Grand Park in Riffa.

The tender encompasses a range of services including weed removal, trimming, tree planting, cleaning, and irrigation.

Shaikh Khalifa Grand Park in Riffa is one of the largest parks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, spanning 78,000 square meters.

It is renowned for being the greenest park in the Kingdom and offers a range of recreational and service facilities, making it a comprehensive park that caters to the needs of all citizens.

Despite being inaugurated in 2012, the park maintains its charm, aesthetic appeal, and diverse sections, which undergo continuous maintenance.

The park, located in the eastern Riffa area, boasts a strategic location. It is a comprehensive national recreational project designed to meet the needs of all age groups.

Since 2019, the project has incorporated games and designated areas for people with disabilities.

The park's design also incorporates a division into four categories catering to the interests of children, youth, families, and seniors.
