Bahrain calls to ease tensions

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa emphasised the importance of de-escalation to prevent further crises in the Gaza Strip that threaten regional stability and peace. He stressed the need for a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace plan based on the two-state solution, which ensures security and stability for all.
HM the King was speaking as he received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy were present.
The meeting reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the tensions in the Middle East and the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
HM King Hamad underscored Bahrain’s support for all efforts aimed at establishing security, stability, and peace on both regional and international levels.
