Over 5,000 education employees to get promotions starting September

Over 5,000 employees in education and related roles will receive promotions starting in September, according to an announcement by the Minister of Education, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Juma.

This move follows coordination with the Ministry of Finance and National Economy and the Civil Service Bureau (CSB), who have joined forces to set these changes in motion.

Dr. Juma indicated that the promotions will be rolled out incrementally, with a goal of completing the adjustments by the end of December.

He praised the education sector and support staff for their exceptional work over the past academic year and their ongoing contributions for the year ahead.

Their role in implementing the Ministry of Education’s strategies and policies has been highly valued.

At a committee meeting for the new academic year, Dr. Juma confirmed that the ministry is preparing to deliver all necessary services to students and ensure a smooth start to the school year.

He also expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their backing of the education sector and thanked all partner organisations for their contributions.
