HM King commends Bahrain’s historic success at Paris 2024 Olympics

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended Bahrain’s historic success at the Paris 2024 Olympics, which is an important achievement that has elevated the Kingdom’s position in the global sports arena.
HM the King was speaking as he received His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday.
The meeting followed HH Shaikh Khalid’s return from the Paris, where Bahrain won four medals; which include two gold, one silver, and one bronze.
HM King Hamad expressed his appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid for his dedicated efforts to advance the youth and sports sectors, highlighting his significant contributions to Bahrain’s position in the international sporting arena.
Efforts
His Majesty also commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of SCYS, and HH Shaikh Khalid, for their unwavering support of Bahraini athletes.
HM the King congratulated the Bahraini athletes for their outstanding performances and exemplary sportsmanship throughout the Olympics. In addition, he commended the efforts of the General Sports Authority, the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and all those who contributed to these distinguished results.
Determination
HM King Hamad highlighted the continued progress and achievements in Bahraini sports, attributing these successes to the determination of the Kingdom’s citizens.
He emphassied the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting young Bahraini athletes and ensuring their success in all sports and youth sectors. His Majesty wished success to HH Shaikh Nasser, HH Shaikh Khalid, and all Bahraini youth in their future endeavours.
